Transportation

Within the City of Cerritos, many residents opt to ride a COW rather than walk. Cerritos on Wheels (COW), the City’s public transportation system, was developed to provide residents with an inexpensive, convenient and environmentally friendly method of traveling to parks, schools, shopping centers, the Cerritos Senior Center, Cerritos Library, and other points of interest within the City.

Residents and visitors can also use the COW to make connections to the Long Beach Transit District, the Orange County Transit Authority, Norwalk Transit, and the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) buses, all which offer frequent service throughout the community – including service to and from Hawaiian Gardens. Cerritos also offers curbside transportation to seniors and disabled residents with the Cerritos Dial-A-Ride service.
