Government Affairs Council

Political Action & Legislative Awareness

knabe.jpg As the strong voice for business, the Cerritos Regional Chamber of Commerce prioritizes government advocacy and political action by representing and protecting businesses from regulations and anti-business legislation. The Government Affairs Council meets on a monthly basis to identify and discuss important issues, to establish rapport with elected and government officials, and to influence public policy and legislation that effects the business community. The Government Affairs Council also sponsors candidate forums, legislative update luncheons, and the Coffee & Politics series that allow Chamber and community members to meet with local, state and federal officials.
