Priority Issues & Policy Platform

As an advocate for the local business community, the Cerritos Regional Chamber’s Government Affairs Council determines and articulates the Chamber’s positions on public policy, projects, and issues relevant to regional businesses. The role of the GAC is to identify and monitor important issues, establish collaborative rapport with elected and appointed government officials, and influence the public policy that fosters economic vitality and quality of life within the Cerritos region. Among the responsibilities of the GAC are local government issues, state and federal legislation affecting the Cerritos Region, and to alert businesses of legislative issues that impact local commerce and the overall welfare of the community.
